I just woke up after sleeping through the day. I was on night shift last night and didn't get off until 7am, but I forced myself up so that I could watch the TI3 playoffs. I tuned in for the ending of G1 of Alliance vs LGD.CN and my god it was an amazing ending! Alliance had a strangle hold on LGD with Furion and PL constantly pushing all lanes and LGD couldn't even leave the base. After slow pushing all the rax except mid melee and bot melee, LGD won a huge team fight, bought a rapier and pushed through the mid up to Alliance's base. It ended in a super close base race victory for one of the teams (I won't spoil it here) and was an amazing way to wake up! I love The International!!!!
Unfortunately all the team's with North American players have been thoroughly dominated and knocked out of the tournament. All of them except our boys at Team Liquid that is! They are the last great hope for this continent and while I have amazing confidence of the mustache of ixmike, I'm just not sure if they have what it takes to beat the remaining teams. That means I've got to find a new team to root for and I think I've found it in Fnatice.EU!
Not only did this team originate in Heroes of Newerth, which is an awesome game and gets little to no respect in the DotA community, but they are all dead sexy. Take a look at their TI3 profile picture! They look like a boys band compared some of the knuckle draggers on the other teams. That alone should give them a huge psychological advantage against the other teams full of basement dwellers who have never even seen a non-pixelated vagina.
Anyway, G2 of Alliance vs LGD is about to start and I've got my bagel in one hand and
